Design of Baghdad Sport City completed and approved

The detailed architectural, structural, mechanical and electrical design of the most important sportive project in Iraq, namely Baghdad Sport City, has been completed by TTBP, a consulting engineering company which is a subsidiary of Boland Payeh Holding. Haris Engineering Inc., the owner’s American consultant, has approved the complete design that was duly endorsed by the Iraqi Ministry of Youth and Sports.
The contract for design and build of the above project had been awarded to Boland Payeh in EPC-Turnkey format. It comprises a 60,000 seat football stadium with running track, a 5000 seat football stadium, three training fields, a 4 Star hotel and other facilities. The main football stadium has been designed according to FIFA recommendations and approved by a FIFA authorized firm. The main stadium is a landmark due to its elegant façade design.
