Shahid Ghoddoosi Station is officially opened to public.
On 14 September 2016, Shahid Ghoddoosi station, which is the 19th station of line 3 and the 104th station of Tehran Metro is opened to public. In this ceremony, the President of Tehran City Council, CEO of Tehran Urban & Suburban Railway Co., managers of Boland Payeh Co. and Tehran Municipality were present.
Line 3 of Tehran Metro, with 24 stations and 37 km of length totally, is the longest metro line in the Middle East that connects south-west of Tehran to its north-east.
Boland Payeh Co. is the main contractor of majority parts of this line. For construction of this station, 82000 m3 of excavation, 5000 tons of reinforcement, 46000 m3 of concrete and 25000 m2 of formwork were done.
