Bagheran Cement Factory

Project Overview

In July, 2006, Construction of Bagheran cement factory was awarded to Boland Payeh Co. This project consists of all the civil works of following 6 deliverables: clinker silos, conveying and clinker feeding system, cement grinder, cement silos, cement conveying system, and loading building.

In order to increase speed and accuracy and reduce the cost, slip forming method was used to construct this project. More than 35,000 m³ of concrete, 4,500 tons of reinforcement rebar, 20,000 m² formwork and 26,000 m² slip forming was placed and 52,000 m³ earthworks was performed.

Bagheran cement factory has a capacity of producing 3,300 tons of cement per year, and because it’s constructed in south east of Iran and close to Afghanistan, not only it can supply cement for south east region of Iran, it can also supply cement for Afghanistan.
