Project Overview
Engineering, procurement and construction of Bisotoun Thermal Power Plant project was awarded to Boland Payeh, Gostaresh Sanaye Energy Azarab, Sanaye Azarab and Global Energy as a consortium. This project consists of design and construction of two main & auxiliary cooling systems with 165 meters height and 130 meters diameters each and also civil part of Balance of Plant.
To construct this project, more than 52,000 cubic meters of concrete and 8,000 tons of reinforcement rebar were placed and 169,000 cubic meters of earthwork and 97,000 square meters of formwork performed.
Bisotoun thermal power plant is under construction to help generate required electricity for Iran’s growing economy.
